LENT & HOLY WEEK

ASH WEDNESDAY

Wednesday 5th March 2025

10am Said Service & 7.30pm Choral Service

Traditional Ash Wednesday Eucharist service with Imposition of Ashes (optional signing of the cross with ashes on forehead)

HOLY MONDAY

Home Communion Service

Gathering at 7pm, to take communion in someone's home, as the very first Christian followers did. 

Please contact the Church Office for the address. 

PALM SUNDAY 

10.30am - 15th April 2025

10.30am Sunday Eucharist Service

(starting 10,20am from car park)

Our Palm Sunday Procession begins in the cemetery car park at 10.30am.  Pre-blessed crosses will be in church for those unable to process with us. 

HOLY TUESDAY 

Compline Service

7.30pm. - Quiet, reflective service of night prayer as we journey through Holy Week together,

HOLY WEDNESDAY

10am MId-Week Eucharist Service

More informal, said communion service, incorporating the Stations of the Cross.

Refreshments served after the service. 

MAUNDY THURSDAY

7.30pm - Thurs 17th April 2025
(with Vigil until midnight)

Traditional choral service with foot washing (optional), as we remember the evening of the Last Supper. 

​

Directly following this service will be a candlelit vigil.  A time of quiet and stillness, interspersed with Taize music.

GOOD FRIDAY

2pm - Friday 18th April 2025

'At the Foot of the Cross"

​

A service of reflection recalling the last hour at the cross, as Jesus died. 

EASTER SATURDAY

3.30pm - Sat 19th April 2025

Our wonderful Messy Easter event for families.  Activities, fun. craft and food for everyone (and probably chocolate!)

EASTER SUNDAY 

Easter Celebration & Egg Hunt

10.30am - Sunday 20th April 2025

Join us as we celebrate Easter Day together with our "All Together Eucharist Service'.  A wonderful , joyful celebration for all ages and stages of life and faith. 

​

After our service will be an egg hunt in the churchyard and hot cross buns in the Chapter House!
