The Friends of Flitwick Parish Church are an independent charity providing financial and practical support to maintain our beautiful church building.

The 'Friends' play a vital role in enabling the life and work of this historical building to flourish and thrive, as it has done for over 900 years.

We are currently working towards raising £20K to re-decorate the inside of the church, which has not been carried in over 20 years and treat some issues of damp that have appeared over time.

Why help your local church?

With its entry in the Doomsday book, Flitwick Parish Church has been located on its site since before 1086. This wonderful building is an important part of historic heritage of the town of Flitwick.

Aside to the historical significance, it has been the parish church serving its community for over 900 years and has been the venue for many family life events (weddings, christenings and funerals), as well as worship services throughout the centuries.

Every day we are able to have our beautiful and peaceful church open to allow people to visit or to come and light a candle or to sit quietly in our churchyard, through the changing seasons.
